What we aim to do

The Heritage group is dedicated to retrieving and celebrating the remarkable history of the area and Everton Park. We work to reveal what lies under the grass of the Park and bring it to life for this and future generations. We have a number of projects in the pipeline and plan an ongoing programme of heritage education for local residents and visitors alike.

When we meet

We are not meeting as a planning group at present but have plans to reconvene in Autumn 2013. However, we are conducting regular guided walks around our first Heritage Trail.

Some of our current activities

Guided walks.

Generating ideas for our next projects.

Collecting feedback from the public on the programme.

Finalising our education pack for schools.

Some of our successes

The installation of our 15 lectern information boards.

The Heritage Trail launch event in St George’s church on 24 November 2012.

The training and deployment of our 8 local volunteer guides.
