The Nature Garden is considered by many to be the hidden gem of Everton park. A walled-off and gated nature reserve which has been described by a former parks manager as "probably the most biodiverse location in Liverpool."
Friends of Everton Park, Cass Foundation and The Land Trust have recently started a Working Group to help get the nature garden open more often for the public and we are currently setting the groundwork to make it easier for organisations who wish to use it; including local schools, mental health services & more.
The Nature Garden is behind the Shewsy Youth Club in the section of Everton Park behind Great Homer Street. The nearest street is Dorrington Gardens or Langrove Street.
Thanks to a brilliant team of local volunteers the Nature Garden will be open on the following days throughout October:
- Wednesdays 10am-12pm as a day for volunteers to spruce the place up!
- Saturday & Sunday 10am-1pm as days for ANYBODY to come and see the Nature Garden or help us out by pitching in!
If your organisation is interested in booking time to use the Nature Garden, please do not hesitate to contact us via the form below! We are especially interested in health & wellbeing and educational organisations but all are welcome!
